Easel is an AI-powered museum app that revolutionizes the visitor experience with personalized tours, immersive AR experiences, and an interactive chatbot. It addresses the limitations of traditional museum visits, making art exploration more engaging, informative, and accessible.

I provided initial wireframes of each module to accelerate discussions and establish a shared vision.

Easel provides a suite of AR filters to help visitors see artworks in entirely new ways. • The Art Alive Filter animates static artworks, bringing them to life. • The X-Ray Filter allows users to delve into an artist’s process by revealing changes hidden beneath the surface. • The Restoration Filter, assisted by AI, helps visualize artwork's original colors, reconstructions, and past restorations.

Research shows a decline in museum visits over the past few years, highlighting the need for new ways to engage with art. Many museum visitors feel overwhelmed when planning their museum tours due to the vast number of artworks, complex navigation in the museum, and the lack of handy resources for deeper knowledge about certain artworks, artists, or art history.

Many museum visitors feel overwhelmed when planning their museum tours. • Endless choices. With a vast number of artworks to explore, it can be daunting to decide where to start and what to see. • Complex navigation. Maze-like floor plans often make it difficult to navigate through the museum efficiently. • Lacking accessible resources. Visitors also find it challenging to satisfy their curiosity and gain deeper knowledge about certain artworks, artists, or art history due to a lack of handy and comprehensive resources.
